About the Role

Easyweb is seeking an experienced First-Line Support Technician with proven ISP industry experience and strong MikroTik knowledge. The successful candidate must be comfortable working shifts, handling high-pressure situations, and providing professional technical support to residential and business fibre and wireless clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide telephonic, remote and email support to fibre and wireless clients
  • Troubleshoot PPPoE, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, routing and general connectivity issues
  • Configure and support MikroTik (RouterOS) devices
  • Support and troubleshoot Cambium and Ubiquiti (UBNT) wireless equipment
  • Diagnose fibre CPE, ONT and wireless link faults
  • Monitor network outages and escalate when required
  • Provision new client activation’s and assist with installations
  • Log, update and manage tickets efficiently within the ticketing system
  • Maintain professional communication with clients at all times

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years experience in an ISP environment
  • Strong working knowledge of MikroTik RouterOS
  • Experience with NAT, firewall rules, queues, VLANs and routing
  • Experience supporting fibre clients
  • Experience with Cambium and/or Ubiquiti equipment
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals
  • Experience providing email and remote support
  • Ability to work shifts
  • Ability to work under pressure during outages
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Advantageous

  • MTCNA certification
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Splynx)
  • Basic Linux knowledge
  • Valid driver’s license
